Running Into Sophmore Year

In school, students feel like they're doing the same thing over and over again (take notes, read from a textbook and a teacher lecture in the front of the class). A good teacher would break that grind and make the student feel like there are not even in school; but in more of a fun place that they happen to be learning at the same time and they don't even know it. They also make the students feel at home and give them a comfortable learning environment. Back in 3rd grade, I had Mrs. Kinton as my teacher. She was one of my favorite teachers back at Joshua Eaton. She told us stories that were very interesting that also tied into what we were learning that day. She was very nice and laid back. Those are the qualities that I like best in a teacher. Something that you could do to support me this year is to be laid back and not strict. When a teacher is laid back I tend to do better in that class.

I personally believe that students should use their education to do constructive things for society. They should see their education as a privilege and not abuse it by doing nothing in their life. This year, my academic goal is to get honor role 3 out of the 4 quarters. I'm gonna achieve this goal by working hard and studying more. I am also going to get better in track this year. Last year I didn't do so well. But this year I want to improve my 300 meter time by 2 seconds. I'm gonna skim off those 2 seconds by getting to every practice and running on some of my free time. Since I'm not that good in Spanish and taking honors Spanish, I want to do better than last year and improve my grade from an B- to at least a B. So those are my goals for this year. I'm going to get that B by seeing Mrs. Smith if I am ever having trouble on the topic that we are currently learning. So those are my current goals for my sophomore year.
